AIK is on the verge of receiving a large sum of money for Zadok Yohanna. According to Sportbladet, AIK has been scouting the possibility of signing Lugano's Elias Pihlström as a replacement. AIK is on the verge of selling Zadok Yohanna and Expressen has written about massive bids from Newcastle and Brighton, with several foreign media outlets also reporting that Chelsea is involved. AIK is expected to receive over 130 million kronor in net proceeds, which makes the club start looking at potential signings in the summer window. According to Sportbladet, former Degerfors player Elias Pihlström is one of the players AIK has high on their list of potential signings this summer. The 19-year-old winger has been discussed internally and the sports management has also had several meetings regarding the player. He also fits well into AIK's recruitment strategy as he is young and will not burden the foreign player quota. Pihlström was sold to Lugano in Switzerland for around eight million a year ago. Before that, he scored four goals and seven assists in 45 matches for Degerfors and was named the young player of the year in Superettan 2024. AIK is expected to sign several players in the summer window.
