AIK Strengthens Squad with Nana-Kofi Donkor
AIK has completed a transfer for the Ghanaian winger Nana-Kofi Donkor from FC Dila Gori, who signs until December 31, 2030. The young player is known for his dribbling skills and ability to create opportunities in one-on-one situations.
Rekryteringschef Miika Takkula highlights Donkor's ability to drive the game forward through his dribbling and passing skills. Despite his young age, he possesses a combination skill that allows him to quickly adapt to AIK's playing style.
Donkor has also shown impressive performances in both domestic competitions and the Uefa Conference League, which led scouts to secure him as a long-term investment for the club.
The New Arrival's Integration
Despite the timing of the transfer, Donkor will not be able to represent AIK in competitive matches until January 1, 2027. This is because he has already played in competitive matches for two clubs during this calendar year. Therefore, the new signing will only become available for selection on January 1, 2027.
He will join the club shortly after receiving work permit approval.
