AIK has been in negotiations with Robin Kovacs since the spring, but the talks have broken down. Now AIK has offered Kovacs a contract worth 250,000 kronor per month for a year, but the forward wants at least two years to sign. Kovacs has already moved back to Stockholm with his family and was preparing to sign a longer contract with the club. But now the competition has intensified and Czech top clubs, as well as Swiss Lugano, have entered the hunt and are offering according to reports significantly more lucrative deals - both financially and in terms of contract length. AIK now has to decide whether to continue negotiations with more years or not.
