AIK forward Andronikos Kakoullis returns to Cyprus, but in a different club. Omonia Nicosia has signed the 25-year-old striker. This comes after he was loaned out from AIK last summer. Kakoullis has played 207 matches for Omonia Nicosia and has scored 45 goals and 29 assists. He has also played eight matches for Aris Limassol and has scored eight goals and two assists. Omonia Nicosia has said that they and Aris Limassol have reached a preliminary agreement on a transfer for Kakoullis and that his new contract with Omonia will last for three years. The transfer will become official as soon as the former AIK player passes the medical examination with a positive result.
