AIK have decided not to release Zadok Yohanna for the Unity Cup in London. Yohanna, who recently received his first international call-up, had hoped to make his international debut in the tournament. But AIK have chosen not to give him permission to travel, citing his rehabilitation after an injury and sporting reasons. AIK's coaches are pleased with Yohanna's performances in the Allsvenskan so far, where he has made nine goal contributions in twelve matches. Yohanna has also attracted interest from several major European clubs, including Real Madrid CF, Chelsea FC, and Borussia Dortmund. AIK are currently in tenth place in the Allsvenskan, with nine points from eight matches. Yohanna missed the last game due to a minor injury, but is expected to return soon. AIK will need him in the upcoming matches, especially in the meeting with league leaders IK Sirius on May 30.
