AIK has strengthened its defense with the Finnish center back Diogo Tomas. He has signed with AIK and will play for the club for the rest of the season.

Diogo Tomas will play for AIK for the rest of the season, but there is also an option for a two-year extension.

Diogo Tomas was previously a free agent after his contract with Dutch ADO Den Haag expired in the summer. Last season, he played 26 matches, 12 of which were starts, for ADO Den Haag, which won the Dutch second division.
AIK is currently in 6th place in Allsvenskan with 22 points after 14 matches. The next match is at home against IFK Goteborg on October 18.
