AIK and Ukrainian club FC Vorskla have agreed on a loan deal for Vincent Thill to join the Stockholm club. The 22-year-old played against AIK in the Europa Conference League qualifiers just a few weeks ago. Thill has chosen to exercise a clause in his contract to join AIK on loan. He has previously been loaned out to Örebro SK in Superettan and has also played for the Luxembourg national team. Thill is historic as the youngest player ever to debut for the Luxembourg national team, having made his debut at the age of 16 on March 25, 2016. AIK's sports director Henrik Jurelius says to the club's website that the paperwork is underway and they hope to get a playing clearance as soon as possible. Thill is very excited to meet his new teammates and make his debut for the club. He really enjoyed the matches against AIK in the Europa Conference League qualifiers and thought they were two interesting matches on both sides. Thill has a list of merits that includes international caps for the Luxembourg national team and he has also been loaned out to Örebro SK in Superettan. AIK hopes that Thill will be able to contribute to the team's success in Allsvenskan.
